APHG: Political Organization Info is a comedy short video uploaded to the PaulWesNick channel. It was created in the style of a sketch comedy, such as the Cartoon Network show MAD or Monty Python. Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • The video groups were chosen randomly, but Wes ended up with his friend Justin Le. However, they did not end up with their friends Ari or Ian, but Ari still appears in a prominent role since they needed another cast member and Ari was not featured in his own group's video, and Ian films two of the sketches since they needed someone to film them and Ian had filmed his group's video as well.
    • This situation is similar to that of An Egg-Celent Cake!, in which Wes has a prominent role, despite not being in Ari and Nick's group (or even the same period).
  • While the units that were assigned as topics for the video were also random, Wes really wanted the topic of Political Organization just so that he could do the terrorism sketch, which was a fan favorite among his classmates.
  • While four of the group members appear in the video, the group actually had two more members, Josh Means and Jessica Moore, who worked on the written portion of the project. However, Josh can be seen briefly during the clip of Ari walking into class.
  • The short features a test that Ari takes which was written by Wes and Justin. The two consistently made answers A, B, and C joke answers, made all correct answers D, and included "None of the above" as answer E to every question (a joke, as their teacher, Mr. Captan often put "None of the above" as answers on his tests, yet never made it the correct answer.)
  • The footage of Ari putting his pencil to his head is the same one used between every sketch.
  • In the Ethnic Segregation sketch, Nate's words are bleeped out to make it sound like he says, "Get the f*ck out of here, n****r." However, when filming, to avoid potential harassment from the school staff, Nate actually said, "Get the fig out of here, Newton", a joke that garnered laughter from himself, Wes, and Justin. Curiously, Blake did not get the joke.
  • In the test-taking scene before the Multinational States sketch, Ari mentions El Paso, which is also an answer to that question on his test. The Texan city of El Paso was an inside joke in the class. Because it was unclear whether or not it was the answer to a test question, the class began to say that every answer was El Paso.
  • In the Shapes of States sketch, the fake hand is the same one used in The Hostage. Also, it is, intentionally, the wrong hand.
  • The penguin drawn in the Gerrymandering sketch refers to Mr. Captan's hatred of penguins.
  • The Terrorism sketch shows Wes's obsession with Shutterstock footage (containing the Shutterstock watermark).
  • Ari's grade on the test is, intentionally, 0 out of 20, even though the test is 10 questions long.
  • At the end of the short, Ari's test has "So What?" written on it, a common criticism used by Mr. Captan on Free Response Questions that he grades.
  • Ari's scream at the end is an audio clip of Darth Vader crying "Noooooo!" at the end of Revenge of the Sith.
  • Like Bowl of Nays: CdM Eats, since the video is not informational enough, some definitions were added via text by Wes.
  • When the video was shown to the class, it was preceded by Mr. Captan stating that he wasn't even sure if it was school appropriate.
  • The short was the best video project, according to much of the class.
