Nick Reviews the 2019 Academy Awards!!! is a comedic video posted to the PaulWesNick channel on . The video features Nick Geoghegan discussing the recent 91st Academy Awards, giving brief, satirical reviews of each of the eight Best Picture nominees.

Description[edit | edit source]

Background[edit | edit source]

The video is very similar to a segment from the 2018 PWN, The Academy Awards: PWN 19, which features Nick playing a very similar character named "Scientist Man", said to be a professor at the "PWN Institute of Film". The 2019 video marked the character's third appearance, and his first appearance outside of an episode of PWN. The character is inspired by the identically named "Scientist Man" of RedLetterMedia, played by Mike Stoklasa.
