Our Mission Impossibles: PWN #4 is the fourth episode of PWN, uploaded on March 27, 2015. It features Wes Davies and Nick Geoghegan, as well as Ford Fairon in his first PWN appearance. The PWN is the first episode to be uploaded in 2015, as well as the first PWN since Paul's departure from PWN. It features discussion about the trio's hopes for the new Mission Impossible movie. It is also significant for being the first episode of PWN to feature animation.
Description[edit | edit source]
The episode starts with the introduction of Ford Fairon, who served as Paul's replacement for PWNs four and five. He is jokingly referred to as "Pablo", a joke continued in the subsequent PWN, when Ford begins by saying "Hi, my name is Pablo".
The trio had intended to watch the trailer for the fifth Mission Impossible, but they were unable to. The discussion then begins with each member listing their favorite and least favorite installments of the series. The episode continues with what would soon become a trailblazer in the PWN formula, a sloppily animated segment where each member describes their ideas for a potential sequel.
Ford's Idea: "The Crystal Skull"
The Crystal Skull from Indiana Jones, in a personified form, is a wanted criminal. Ethan Hunt is tasked with killing him. He jumps into a car, which explodes, causing him to land on an underwater trampoline, which he uses to land upon a building. He breaks into an office, cracks a safe, and explodes the building. He diffuses another bomb in a separate building, which fails, and he leaps deom the roof. He lands in the arms of Kate Upton. They have sex (probably).
Ethan then puts a "chip" into Upton's brain, and finds the location of the Skull. He confronts it in Peru, where he kills it with some sort of Pac-Man based gun.
Wesley's Idea: "The Korean Hacker Case"
The plot begins with Sony purchasing the rights to Mission Impossible from Paramount, but when the Sony hacking scandal occurs, the Mission Impossible rights are stolen by the North Koreans. Ethan Hunt is tasked with going to China, where he interviews the people to find out who the hackers are. He turns to Sarah Palin (played by Meryl Streep) for help, and she joins him on his trip to Korea. They kill the border guards and approach Kim Jong Un (portrayed by George Takei). It is revealed that Kim is dead, and his body is taken over by the Mechon.
Nick's Idea: All the Single Putins
In the Vatican city, the Pope discovers the prime minister of a terrorist organization called the "Evil Group of Maniacal Anarchist Nazis" in his bedroom. The man reveals himself to be Vladimir Putin. Putin asks, "Why you be doing these things?" It is soon revealed that the Vatican has been stealing Christians from Russia. The Pope refuses to return the Russians, so Putin orders helicopters to enter the Vatican and use grappling hooks to lift the city and take it to a Siberian desert.
The IMF tasks Ethan Hunt with returning the Vatican to Europe. He manages to infiltrate the occupied Vatican, and calls to Beyoncé (played by Taylor Swift) for help. She enlists the help of all the single ladies to lift the Vatican and return it to Europe. President Obama arrives to congratulate Ethan, but removes a face mask to reveal that he was Putin in disguise. It turns out, Putin had stolen Europe and placed it in the desert with the Vatican.
In Part Two of the film, Beyonce once again enlists the help of American singles to lift Europe and carry it back to its proper place. Suddenly, former President George W. Bush arrives, and claims Europe for himself, attatching it to the east coast of America and declaring the free nation of Freedomia.

Blooper Video[edit | edit source]
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- PWN #4 is the first episode of PWN to us the revised PWN logo. The logo features a Ken Burns zoom, at the recomendation of Wes, who has an obsession with the effect. Additionally, it is the first episode not to use Unity as the intro song.
- PWN #4 is also notable for being the first PWN to feature animation. It was this animated segment that caught the interest of Ari Froehlich, who would later insist in PWN 6 that all episodes should feature animation.
- Wesley's Name Joke was intended to be "...and I'm the only ethnically diverse person left", referencing Paul's absence from the episode. However, he incorrectly states "I am the only ethically diverse person left, a mistake made fun of in the PWN 6 bloopers video.
- Nick implies that Ford would only be replacing Paul for the next "five weeks or so", as the intention at the time was for Paul to take an interim after the failed filming of Best of 2014: PWN 4. However, following that episode, Paul turned down the offer to return.
- A title card featured in the video states that the footage of the trio watching the trailer cut out. This is revealed to be false in the bloopers video for the episode. The true reason for the missing trailer was the terrible wifi quality in the cage room.
- Part of Wesley's animation was cut out, for fear of being too topical. It featured Ethan Hunt and Sarah Palin trying to defeat an ISIS cell which had invaded and overthrown Alaska.
