Wesley Davies as an egg in An Egg-Celent Cake!

Among other foods, eggs have repeatedly appeared in videos on the PaulWesNick channel. The most prominent video to feature eggs was An Egg-Celent Cake!, which features many eggs and egg-based humor. It is likely that this video is responsible for the in-joke status that eggs hold on the channel. Often times, the eggs feature faces, and sometimes even voices. Eggs also occur on the channel in frequency with bananas.

Instances of Egg in PWN Videos[edit | edit source]

The following is a comprehensive list of eggs appearing in PWN content. Despite not making too many appearances in videos, eggs are among the most prominent of PWN symbols.

  • An Egg-Celent Cake! - Aside from the obvious egg pun in the title, there are many, many appearances by eggs in the video. Wesley Davies plays an anthropomorphic, human-sized egg, who makes incesant egg puns. He is refered to only by "Egg" in the video, and is credited as "The Egg". An egg with a face is destroyed by a banana, and his egg son (voiced by Tyler Hollander) cries over his egg corpse. Two eggs are used in the recipe for the cake. Four eggs are listed alongside the cast during the credits.
  • Hollywood is Dead: PWN #10 - PART ONE - Nick's contact photo for Wesley is the crying egg from "An Egg-Celent Cake!".
  • The 2017 PWNIE Awards - PWN #20 - This and all subsequent PWNIE Awards use the Golden Egg Award to award the best film of the year.
  • Inspiration - The evil Jewish Easter Bunny played by Nick leaves easter eggs for Phoebe's character, Jason. In the absence of other props, the easter eggs are represented by an EOS lipbalm.
  • Four Years of PWN, with Lucan Alto Stargiotti - Lucan has an interview segment with the three core members of PWN, who are represented by eggs.
  • Don of the Damned - First seen in the trailer for the film, Stephen's character is seen eating scrambled eggs.

It is likely that not all of these instances are intentional references to the Egg-celent Cake video, and some may only feature eggs by happenstance or coincidence.
